The most important thing to do on holidays is to have fun and relax. You still want to look good but with a minimum of fuss so here are some of my tips to improve your chances at a hot holiday romance. Embrace your natural hair – don’t fight it. Humidity happens. Relax. Go [...]

Sorry for the long break in coming back to you with these reviews. I had a very relaxing and adventurous island holiday (I climbed an active volcano – amazing!) and when I came back I found my laptop was still on ‘island time’. I am quite impressed as I managed to fix it myself. Now, [...]

I saw this amazing hair transformation yesterday (don’t tell my husband I was watching The View!) and I loved this comparison of curly vs straight hair on identical twins. You can watch the video below for the full how to but my biggest tips from this are to move away from shampoo if you have dry / [...]

I  can’t believe the number of dry shampoos on the market now. Although it has been around for over 30 years it seems brands are jumping on the bandwagon at the moment as most have a version of dry shampoo now. Dry shampoos are a very useful hair product for those inbetween hair days or [...]

in Celebrity Hair

Oh dear. I do love lots of things about Lady Gaga but I think this takes a love of hair too far and it’s definitely a bad hair romance. She was spotted in this dress made of human hair in New York. God love the girl for making the most of every opportunity but surely [...]

Helmet Hair

in Helmet Hair

There was outrage in Italy when they enforced wearing helmets on scooters. How do you look stylish with helmet hair? I see these girls have no problems looking stylish with helmets on (well, they’d look good regardless) but what happens when the helmet comes off? My hair has often been referred to as a helmet [...]

Love the return of the loose knot – so simple but looks complicated. These shots from Jason Wu fall 2010 via Refinery 29   Again another great style for the second day. I wore a similar style last week (another twist & pin) and will give this knot a go next week.
