A new monthly feature on Hair Romance – Street style hair from the lens of Xiaohan from Xssat Street Fashion!

I love Xioahan’s street style shots (and her shots of me!) and she’ll be shooting some exclusive content for Hair Romance looking at real hair trends.

Xiaohan says:

I’m calling this look the side sweep. It’s like an undercut hair style without having to have an undercut, genius! It’s pretty glamorous paired with red lips and definitely takes this layered but casual outfit up to the next level. The play of patterns, textures and colours between the garments and the hair is spot on. Note how the red lips echoes the red hues in her short, love!

Christina says:

A deep side part is on trend for long and short hair. Side swept flowing waves are popular on the red carpet and these softer textured waves are hot on the street.

Add some mousse to wet hair and roughly blow dry your hair. When it’s about 70% dry you want to decide where to part your hair and use a brush to blow dry the top section for height. If your hair is really straight, use a 25mm curling wand to add some loose waves. Break up the waves with your fingers and smooth with a serum like O&M’s Frizzy Logic.

Wish my hair was that long! Can’t wait for more street style snaps from Xssat street fashion.

Beauty comes from within. No matter how simple and cheap the clothes you are wearing, if you know how to carry it with self confidence, you are truly look great for sure.
