Nina is the braiding star behind this insta-inspiration. She’s from Denmark and shares hairstyles in her hair and also her daughter’s. She only started her account in January and already has over 10k followers but it’s easy to see why.
I got in touch with Nina to find out more as she doesn’t have a website or YouTube channel (yet!). I’ve encouraged her to start but this is a hobby for her at the moment. Nina says:
I have always been creating hairstyles, but I never really braided. My hobby was art and I have been creating artworks for several years. It wasn’t until my daughter got a book on braids for Christmas I was inspired to start braiding because I knew I had some different ideas on hairstyles that I wanted to try. When I created my account I wanted to share both art and hairstyles – I soon realized that it’s exactly the same creativity whether I braid or paint, and this has opened a whole new world to me! As you can see on some of my pics I still incorporate art via the airbrush and I think that my creative mind is always pushing me to to wild and different styles.
Hair is another medium for Nina’s art and I love that she’s started sharing more images of her work. The airbrush adds gorgeous detail to her styles.
