Aevin Dugas has just taken out the Guinness World Record for the World’s largest natural afro. Aevin is a 36 year old social worker from New Orleans and has been working on her ‘fro for 12 years. The record breaking circumference of her hair is 1.32m (4 feet, 4 inches)!!!
This woman takes care of her hair. Watch the video to hear her talk about her fabulous afro. I have trouble with my peripheral vision with my curls so I can only imagine how hard it is for her to drive.
Despite the difficulties in maintaining that amazing mane, she loves her hair and that’s what matters.

IMATS is on in Sydney and the inaugural Australian Beauty Bloggers Weekend is taking place with over 80 beauty bloggers from around Australia attending. It should be fabulous and I congratulate Kimmi & Jacie for starting what I hope will be an annual event.
I had planned to attend but I am more excited to be bridemaid to my lovely friend on Saturday. I can’t wait!
