This is really pretty, but how do you do it? I have uber curly hair and it’s a pain to do updo’s like this.

Hair Romance September 19, 2012 at 8:15 am

Hi, I’ll be releasing an ebook with tutorials for all of the styles at the end of the challenge. This style is great for curly hair too – I did a similar style here http://www.hairromance.com/2011/11/easy-updo-for-second-day-hair.html

Abbi September 19, 2012 at 10:29 pm

this is gorgeous! im in a wedding in three weeks and i want this done. is there any way you could sent the tutorial to me through my email so i could show my hair dresser?

Hair Romance September 19, 2012 at 11:42 pm

Thanks Abbi, this style is similar to this braid — http://www.hairromance.com/2011/11/hair-romance-tv-4-side-braid-tutorial.html – but worn right on the hairline and twisted open and down. Have fun at the wedding xx

hi! i just came across this on pinterest. i have very long hair, down to my waist, and it’s thick. would these even be possible for me? Thanks!

Hair Romance October 3, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Hi Leah, sounds like you have gorgeous hair! You would end up with a much large bun than I do with my just past shoulder length hair. This style would be gorgeous finished in a side braid or side ponytail with your long hair. Christina x

I am the worlds worst hair braider. Would your ebook help me out or would everything be too advanced for me?

Hair Romance September 6, 2013 at 1:55 pm

Hi Nicole! Braiding just takes practice. My ebook has detailed tutorials for each type of braid then tutorials for over 30 different braided updos. If you can’t braid at all, some of the styles may be a bit hard at the beginning. I offer a 30 day money back guarantee so if you’re not happy just email me and I will refund you. I’m confident that anyone can braid but if you feel the book’s not for you just email me. Thanks, Christina x
