How gorgeous is this model’s hair?

Hair Romance had a peek behind the scenes at Leona Edmiston‘s Summer Parade in Sydney last week an apart from loving that model’s red hair, I also think these ponytails are a super cute style to try at home.

Hair Director, Scott Sloan for Schwarzkopf Professional said, “This year Leona Edmiston’s Summer Parade took guests on a journey to the Cote d’Azur and the French Riviera, so we needed to ensure that the hair also evoked feelings of the South of France and the style and luxury that it’s famous for.

We kept the hair quite clean and sleek with a ponytail that hinted at a sixties influence through using a bit of height in the back. Ponytails are always on trend, but it was nice to mix this one up a bit to really give it a glamorous edge. Smooth finishes and wrapped bases for this variation ensured the look was ultra-chic and feminine, but through adding volume to the crown and sweeping the front across the forehead to provide just a glimpse of earlobe gives the look one of effortless chic – so very French!”

I adore this deep side part pony. It’s so easy and so chic!

“Having trouble pinning your hair around your ponytail? Here are my tips for how to wrap your hair around the base of your ponytail.” – How did you know? I always get it around just fine but can’t get the pins to make it stay. I might be bobby-pin-user deficient.

That first girl’s hair colour is so similar to yours too! I’ll find some more Great Gatsby inspired hair so you’ll love your short hair too x
