Amber Heard - Cannes

Happy weekend!

How much do you love this braid that Amber Heard is wearing at the Cannes film festival?

Yesterday I spoke at The Retreat, a fantastic event for bloggers by Blog Society. I really love talking, especially about blogging. If you’re thinking about starting a blog, I say just do it.

I think I’d like to write more about blogging but it doesn’t really fit on Hair Romance, or does it? Let me know if you’d be interested in reading about blogging.

The weather has been fantastic in Sydney and we had a busy week for my husband’s birthday and headed out for some art and culture at the Biennale of Sydney.

5 beauty bloggers (including me!) share their favourite drugstore makeup.

15 gorgeous wedding updos.

No-one wants to talk about lice but Fox in Flats has some fab hair tips on how to deal with lice if you have coloured hair.

How to know if you’ve got a great hairdresser.

Nikki from Styling You asks if you should you change your skin care products.

Chill – loved this post by Garance Dore on defining success.

Happy Memorial Day weekend to all my US readers!

MsHiiina May 28, 2014 at 11:47 pm

Thank yooooooou !
I am recently engaged and following your blog ever more closely now that 50% people I told the big news said I specifically should choose my hairstyle (long and very versatile straight deep glod/red hair) before the dress . So much pressure ;)

Hair Romance May 29, 2014 at 10:38 pm

ooh your hair sounds gorgeous! It’s true you should consider the neckline of your dress when choosing your hairstyle but you can always find a compromise. Congrats on your engagement and have fun with your wedding planning x
