Whitney-hair

How awesome is this braid? It’s from the Whitney Eve show at MBFWA in 2012 but it still looks as cool now as it did a couple of years ago. I love that braids keep on trending. Braids are always in style in my world.

Here’s what Jim and I got up to last week. I even baked! You have to check out my peanut butter choc chip cookies recipe. You only need 5 ingredients and 20 minutes to make them and they’re gluten free too!

In honour of one of our fave bloggers, Nikki of Styling You, Jim created her signature cocktail – the Mocha Espresso Martini and it is verrrry good.

Congrats to Grace on her BaubleBar collab – I love her collection esp the rope bracelets.

Wish you could customise your own skin cream? You need to try Bespoque. Create your own product that meets all your skin care needs and have it made while you wait in store (in less than 10 mins).

Thanks to YSL Beauty, I went to see an advance screening of Yves Saint Laurent the movie this week. The film is heartbreakingly beautiful and an insight into the life of the incredible talented designer. I also loved the fancy popcorn they served!

Had to buy these trousers again as I’m wearing my first pair so often. Do you buy two of the same item when you find something you love?

Also bought these shoes because…bargain.

Loving the new Kerastase Couture styling range and Prime Beauty rates them too.

My Beauty Bunny recommends this hair wrap if you have big hair or damaged hair.

If you’re a chronic over-packer on holidays then Skeeter and Scout has your travel beauty essentials nailed.

Pink lakes exist! Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Girl has shot a stunning editorial there for Lancome. It’s simple gorgeous.
