Best tip for braiding your hair

Stretch it out

Gently pull at the sides of your braid to stretch out your braid.

Hi there .. love your blog and I have it streaming into my RSS feed 😀
Can you advise what products to use to help braid hair without it snarling into knots or unbraiding itself due to serums. I’m still struggling to get smooth braids without it looking like I’ve wrestled with it to make it!! Especially for french braids :S

Thanks Cathie! Will do! Serums can be part of the problem, they are too soft. A dry shampoo would offer a little more grip to help keep your braids in place. Also, brushing your hair with a bristle brush before you begin really smooths your hair so you start with a good base.
