Short Cut Saturday – Braids for short hair

Hair Romance loves braids (in case you hadn’t noticed) and I wanted to show you how you don’t need long hair to braid. You can try these styles from the 30 Braids in 30 Days ebook in short hair too.

The waterfall braid in short hair

The waterfall braid was featured as Day 2 of my 30 Braids in 30 Days hairstyle challenge. It’s a beautiful braid in long hair or a bob.

The French fringe braid in short hair

The French fringe braid was Day 10 of my 30 Braids in 30 Days hairstyle challenge. Again this style works for both long and short hair, and is perfect for when you are growing out your fringe/bangs.

The tutorials to these braids and 28 more are in my brand new 30 Braids in 30 Days ebook. Click on the button below to get your copy now.

Thanks to my lovely friend and model for letting me braid your hair while we picnicked in the park.

That is really cute! My favorite of your braid series was Day 29, but they were all cute. :) My favorite for me is the braided crown. Some of the braids you did wouldn’t work with my long hair. Too long of a tail to tuck it in nicely, unfortunately. I really like my hair today, too. I’ll try to get it up next week at some point. Braiding is fun! :)

Thanks Stacy! Your hair is soooo long now. It’s divine. You’ve inspired me to think of new braids for long hair x

Hi Grace, that’s not me in the pic. If you want to make your hair a similar colour, take the photo into your hairdresser and they can customise it for you x
