I fell in love with the triple braid hairstyle, but my hair isn’t long enough to achieve the look. So I asked the lovely Michaela of Lather Rinse Repeat to come over for some hair play.
We recreated this triple braid hairstyle in her thick blonde hair and I just love the look. We left it a little messy, a it was a humid day and I don’t like super neat braids.
How to get the look – triple braid hairstyle
- Brush your hair to remove any knots.
- Split your hair into three equal sections.
- Braid each section into a basic braid (plait) so you end up with three equal braids.
- Then braid the three braids into one. That’s it!

Wow, she has pretty, thick hair! That is a great style on her. I had my hair sorta like this yesterday (pictures still on the camera!). I separated the hair at the crown and did french braids down until they almost met and then braided them together. It’s a fun different way to have a braid.
