Hi Catherine, you can purchase my ebook here – https://www.hairromance.com/30-braids-30-days – and it’s sent straight to your email 🙂 I like to use a styling powder to add more volume to my hair, that usually helps my curls stick out more x
How do u get the braid to go around backwards?? and how do u get it to stay that way?? Can u please leave or give me some tips on how to braid it on the back of your hair and the front and join it in the side ponytail please and thank you..where do u get the metal cuffs at and how much Thank You!!!!
Hi Catherine, the tutorials are available in my ebook. The cuff is by Lady Jayne. Thanks!
How do you even get your hair to be like that? I have no idea how to do a french braid on the side of my head. Do you have a tutorial somewhere? By the way my hair is veryyy curly.
Hi Paige, the tutorials for this hairstyle are in my ebook and I have some video tutorials on youtube too – Hair Romance TV. I’ve straightened my hair first so you can see the braid. If you hair is very curly you can create a similar look by twisting your hair. Christina x
Just a quick question, whenever you do a braid, do you do it kinda tight first and then pull it to loosen it, or do you purposely do looser ones and tighter ones? I like chunky braids, but braid very tight. There’s also only so much pulling I can do before some of my shorter layers tend to fall out.
Thanks!
Hi Emily, I braid it tight first then loosen it. I pin any short layers that fall out, but you can gently loosen the braid around them so they stay in place too. Hope this helps x
I have a braid like that in my hair right now! Just by chance… No metal cuff though 🙁
Love it! Just saw the pic, your hair is gorgeous x
I love these! I have one in gold and when I visited the other day noticed they have a lovely selection for fall as well.
I need to go and get some more!
My hair is very curly and I have always loved braids but when I braid my hair it is almost always lost in the crazy mess of curls. Any ideas on how to make them stand out more?
Hi Rachel, I know exactly what you mean. Braids stand out more on straight hair, as you can see the detail. The good news is for curly hair is that you can be messier and bigger with your braids. Twists work just as well as braids in curly hair too. Try a few bigger braids, or twists and see how you go x
