30 Curly Hairstyles in 30 Days – Day 28 – Part 1 – Dutch braids two ways
30 Curly Hairstyles in 30 Days – Day 28 – Part 2 – Dutch braids two ways
Dutch braids will always be my fave braids in curly hair. They stand out more than French braids, and my hair is always too knotty for fishtail braids.
Dutch braids are the reverse of French braids and so they stand out on your hair. The secret is to stretch them out to make your hair look thicker!

i am loving all the unique curly hairstyles! i hate it when i google “curly hairdo tutorials” and all i come up with are hairstyles for straight, heat curled hair.
one of the things i struggle with is keeping my curls in tact while exercising. washing my hair every day isn’t realistic but i do like to run or do workouts most mornings. how do you keep your hair out of your way when exercising but still look great for the rest of the day? a post on this sometime would be appreciated!

Thank you! I felt exactly the same frustration and needed to share more real curly hairstyles. I bought the best hair clip from Lady Jayne that is flat. I also use it to clip up my hair at night and it’s great for running or exercise. With this clip I can still wear my hair down later. Or any of my curly hairstyles work too 🙂
