I never normally have my hair up and I was getting board of the simple hairstyle I normally go for. Being young and at college, I desperately wanted to try something new. Did this haristyle and was the first I had my hair up in ages! I LOVE it! Can’t wait to try your other tutorials! xx
How do you make your braids look so thick? I know you have naturally curly hair so it probably gives that added, natural bounce, but do you have any other suggestions for thinner, wavy hair? Any products I should use before brading?
Thanks Nessa! I start by blowdrying my hair with a round brush to smooth it and add volume. You can use a volumising mousse or spray to add more oomph to your hair. The biggest trick is to stretch you braids out. It makes such a difference to even the thinnest braid. Gently pull at the sides of the braid and really emphasise the shape of the braid. Your hair will look 10 times thicker, I promise x
How cute & elegant!! Very ‘Downton Abbey’. Like how this works with a long side fringe. Also like the use of the doughnut. I’ve been thinking of getting one but don’t know if it will be easy to use on layered hair when i secure the ends, maybe heaps of bobby pins 🙂

Thanks Yojo! Hair padding is awesome, and lets you create lots of different looks. Curl the ends of your hair under and your layers won’t stick out x
