Big Hair Friday

September 8, 2011 By Hair Romance 5 Comments

All aboard for this week’s Big Hair Friday in the sky!
I will be in an aeroplane for most of this weekend, hoping I survive the long haul flight!
I will be back in Sydney next week so will be able to reply to my emails. My apologies if you are waiting for an answer from me.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments. I read each and every one. Leave me a link to your blog too so I can visit and say hello too.
On the way to the UK I tested some new theories to avoid jet lag that worked for me on the way over, but will see if they hold up for the return trip. I always think the trip to Australia feels worse.
Do you have any tips for surviving jet lag?
Have a great weekend lovelies xx

    Thanks lovelies! Great tips!

@Red Boots – I usually do the no nap thing but this trip I was so tired I slept all day when we got back! I also slept all night and got straight back into a normal sleeping pattern (lucky!) – think I needed to catch up on some sleep after my trip.

Have a great time! No real tips for jet lag – just try and do normal things for the time of day when you arrive. E.g if you arrive at noon – don't have a nap, try and have lunch and walk about and generally stay awake for as long as you can until night time.

Oh man…having lived my life spread over three continents I know all to well how draining it can be. My survival routine is as follows. Take off your make-up when you get on the plane. Drink gallons of water. Change clothes, spray on perfume and re-apply makeup just before you land. Good-luck!

    i'm jealous!
tip: hydrate a LOT! and to stay fresh-looking, lightly spritz water over your makeup when you land. i've heard that airplane cabins are VERY dry.
have a lovely time in sydney!
