I have wavy (what I call nappy) hair. Love, love, love this website! As I age (52 next month), my hair seems to feel oily quicker and has an oily smell to it. I also have a very itchy scalp. What can you recommend for these symptoms that have recently occurred? I have tried dozens of shampoos with the same results. I’m at a loss!! please help.
    Thanks,
    Terri

Hi Terri, there could be a few causes – such as medication or health reasons. Has something else changed that could be affecting your hair? I would try a clarifying shampoo once a week, and use a moisturising shampoo at other times. Dry shampoo can be a good quick fix halfway through the day to freshen up your hair too. Good luck x

My everyday hair is probably most people’s party hair! I usually take the extra time and actually straighten my hair for special events. I usually have it in updos most days for work and that takes less time than straightening it.
