Hair Comes the Bride

April 29, 2011 By Hair Romance 4 Comments

Don’t you just love a wedding?

I never thought I was a wedding girl, but ever since I got married I love them. Such a happy occasion and I have to admit I was very excited about the Royal wedding.

My sister hosted a fabulous wedding reception party tonight (she sent out invitations and prepared a perfect English high tea) but we just drank loads of champagne and enjoyed the show.

Two billion people watched, and I think it’s nice to unite over a happy event rather than a natural disaster or sad news.

So, what we all wanted to know – what is the wedding hair of the next decade.

So Kate chose the tiara over flowers, and wore her hair down but off her face with lots of gorgeous volume and soft curls.

Bellasugar has a great rundown and pics of Kate’s hair. Check out the Bellasugar article here.

I’m off to drink more champagne and gossip about Harry.

She looked very beautiful but I thought the hair was a bit…boring. She would have look much more royal if she had worn her hair up, I think.

@Lisa – The Swedish crown princess looked stunning, but I did like the tiara/hair down combo. A very modern princess.

@theoldboathouse – I heard she also did her own makeup!

Apparently she wanted to look like she always does rather than having "wedding hair" that was not who she was, so she wore it down like she most often does.
