My obsession with pink ombre hair continues. The colour master Stevie of Stevie English Hair took his paintbrush to my hair again and dip dyed this gorgeous mix of tones.
I can’t believe how much longer my hair looks when it’s straight. I was considering the big chop again recently but this fun colour makes me want to grow my hair even longer.
In some crazy exciting news, Hair Romance just passed nine million pageviews! Thank you so much for stopping by for your fix of hair-spiration and for being as hair obsessed as I am. I am floored by this number, and so appreciate you taking the time to stop by.
I’m excited about what’s next for Hair Romance. I spent the weekend in Melbourne, Australia as I attended the Problogger conference. I believe it’s the best blogging event around and last year’s event changed my life. I met some amazing people and came away inspired.
This year I was honoured to speak again on a panel with two amazing bloggers – Chantelle of Fat Mum Slim and Caz of Y Travel Blog and Mojito Mother. My head is full of ideas from all the speakers and I’ll be putting some into action right away. This year, due to overwhelming demand for tickets, the Problogger event was recorded so that people could attend virtually. You can still buy tickets to access the presentations here which is an amazing resource if you have a blog and want to take it further.
I also braided up a storm at the Problogger conference. I can’t help myself! I can turn any conversation around to hair. That’s me on the right and Val from Ponikuta on the left. I’m wearing Day 2 and Val is wearing Day 16 of my 30 braids in 30 Days.
I had so much fun talking and styling hair. It gave me an idea about hosting a blog meetup for Hair Romance readers.
Tell me, would you turn up to a Hair Romance meet up? Would you like me to do some tutorials, or a braiding workshop? Love to know your thoughts, please leave me a comment below.

I would definitely turn up for a Hair Romance workshop. There are some styles in your first book I would also like some instruction for. That would be a great idea. I heard from Stephanie of lipstick and cake that the conference was amazing. I’m actually waiting for my hairdresser to get back from holidays to colour my hair so I can get braiding. Unfortunatley the braiding highlights the greys… loving the blog

Thanks Kimberley! ooh I hate that week just before I colour my hair. I should post about my favourite styles for hiding regrowth. Thanks for the interest and I think I may get something started, I’ll keep you posted x

Thanks Lisa! Go for twists over braids, curls don’t need to be complicated. I will think of some new styles to share xx

The meet-up would be in Sydney, Australia to begin with but I have lots of travel plans for next year. Where should I hold a meet up overseas?
