Elly Hanson is a rising hair star.
Can you believe this is only her first hair collection? She was awarded a Judges’ Recognition in the New Creative Force category at Hair Expo last year for this beautiful collection.
Stylist and colourist Elly Hanson has been with Stevie English Hair since April 2010 and loves working there. “It’s fun. You get to be your own hairdresser, but you get to be a good hairdresser” Elly explains. ”You’re given the time and you’re given the support and education from Stevie to do good work – but it’s also just really relaxed.”
With Stevie’s encouragement she created her first collection and loved the experience, “You get to express your own sense of style [through hair collections]”.
Last week I caught a sneak peek at her next series which is incredible too. I’ll give you one hint – Elly says 1970s hair was a huge influence.
