Don’t worry, I’ve been guilty of that many times, and doing a whole lot worse to my poor hair. Add to that I have curly hair that is naturally dry and I’m surprised I still have any hair left!
To keep my hair happy I developed an obsession with hair treatments. I realised that if I wanted to be blonder and play with my hair I would have to do a little something extra special to look after my hair. To keep my hair happy it needs moisture, and lots of it.

My lastest obsession is Original & Mineral Seven Day Miracle Moisture Masque. When I was at Stevie English Hair, Stevie gave me some O&M products to try and I couldn’t wait to test them out.
Original & Mineral is a new favourite brand of mine. I only discovered them this year. I like that they are a small Aussie company that is about to take America by storm. Their low chemical hair colour and products are good for your hair and good for the environment, all wrapped up in pretty packaging.
Their haircare and styling products are sulphate free and don’t contain parabens, MIT, propylene glycol, phthalates or triclosan. But what exactly does that mean for your hair? I think it’s a good thing. My hair is happier that’s for sure.
O&M Seven Day Miracle is a treatment mask you use between your shampoo and conditioner. It smells absolutely delicious. I could never write about perfume as I don’t have the vocabulary to describe the sweet, honey, nutty goodness that smells so good you want to eat your hair.
Apply a small amount of Seven Day Miracle on the midlengths to ends of your hair and comb through. Leave it on for at least two minutes or 10 minutes if you need a treat. Sometimes I leave it on for 1/2 hour or more, while I clean the bathroom or give myself a facial. Then I hop back in the shower, rinse it out, apply conditioner and enjoy my new soft hair.
It’s worth letting your hair air dry after a treatment, but after this delicious treat, your hair will forgive you for blowdrying it (again).

Hi Jo, it can but it doesn’t need to be. You just need to apply from the midlengths to the ends of your hair and comb through x
