Makeup can be that little pick-me-up to get me out of the door on those days. Especially those times when you don’t want to but you really have to. Like cold Monday mornings…
My favourite makeup item for those moments is a bright lipstick. I love bright reds and corals and lately my go-to shades that are always in my handbag are MAC Crosswires Creamsheen lipstick and Maybelline Color Sensational in Coral Crush.
The best thing about a bright lip is that you don’t need to do much else with your makeup. A touch of concealer, a light sweep of blush and mascara and you can run out the door in a flash. Especially useful for those times when you sleep in..!

I love deep reds and purples. But my favorite is my MAC gel, it's a lovely shade of gold; it's the perfect accent for my bright eyeliners or eye shadows

It'd be no surprise, but my makeup pick-me-up is Chanel lipstick! Now I think I'll have to get a bright one!
Love those bright lips on the model. My favourite pick me up is NARS Heat Wave, a matte punchy orange-red. It really does put me in a good mood when I have it on 🙂
