Short hair hairstyles – more braids to try

February 14, 2015 By Hair Romance 12 Comments

I’ve been thinking about short hair all week. It’s been so humid here in Sydney that I have contemplated cutting off all my hair.

My hair is so thick it feels like I’m wearing a winter coat on my head in the middle of summer.

So naturally my thoughts turn to what if… and I start looking for short hair inspiration.

Short hair hairstyles – more braids to try

Short hair hairstyles - braided half up

Short hair hairstyles - braided ponytail

I stumbled across these braids on Wonder Forest and they are stunning. Dana has an easy tutorial for both looks too. They’re really just one braid worn two way. You know how I feel about a multi-tasking hairstyle.

I love that you can wear this style in both long and short hair too.

So will I go for the chop? I am staying strong and staying long…for now. I think short hair might be harder to cope with in the humidity as you can’t put it up in a top knot.

Have you recently cut your hair? What’s your fave short hair hairstyle?

PS. How to wear braids in short hair and more braids in short hair.

The humidity in Sydney at the moment is crazy… and really puffing up my (already big) hair!

My hair is the longest it has ever been and I know what you mean about if feeling like a coat… not ever going to go short any time soon but loving the braids from your friend’s blog all the same!
