The best curly hairstyle tutorials for frizzy hair

April 1, 2015 By Hair Romance 8 Comments

Hair Romance - top curly hairstyle tutorials

One of my most frequently asked questions is what to do with frizzy, curly hair so here are my best hairstyle tutorials for curly hair.

Curly girls, don’t fear the frizz. I have a full post to write about this but please, don’t obsess about frizz. It’s so normal for us and the only way to completely get rid of frizzy hair is to use so much product that your hair becomes a helmet.

You can reduce frizzy hair by following my tips for styling curly hair but don’t try to get rid of frizz completely.

Now back to the curly hairstyle tutorials. I like to wear my curls out when I was my hair, but for days 2 and beyond I usually wear an updo. These are my go-to styles that are quick and easy everyday hair.  If you’ve got a formal event, or you’re a guest at a wedding, these curly updos are perfect.

These are really great hairstyles for one who has a lot of frizz. These braids look lovely too.

Easy, low-maintenance haistyles like buns and braids are my favorite 🙂

My favorite one is the dutch braid that is twisted into a bun! My curls aren’t nearly as structured and full as the ones in the picture. My hair tends to just… kink and wave, and if I brush it, it looks reminiscent of Hermione from the first Harry Potter movie.

What about us short to medium curly frizzy hair girls? We don’t have enough length to rock those braids! Help!

Thanks so much Lisa! I really appreciate it. Curls are awesome and you can do anything with them. It helps to see more real curls in styles. I’ve got a bunch more coming up too 🙂
