Twisted fishtail braid by Confessions of a Hairstylist

The Style Loop is a roundup of my fave links of the week for you to read on the weekend, plus some of my fave stylish finds.

Happy weekend!

Next week is going to be HUGE. I’ve got my braid bar on Monday night, it’s Fashion Week in Sydney and then Little Blog Big is coming to Sydney on Saturday! I am super excited.

And on that topic, here are 9 ways to rock a blogging event.

Here’s what I got up to last week with Jim. We also wrote about one of my favourite things to do in San Diego.

Love this twisted fishtail braid above. Head here for the tutorial.

Super easy fresh faced makeup tutorial that lasts all day.

Don’t fry your hair, always use a heat protectant.

The best liquid liners.

What’s better than a cape? A cape dress.

Smaggle wrote up 9 awesome things to do in Bali after our trip there. Would you be interested in some travel beauty posts?

Fun crown braids to try.

I love this pick. I just had my hair all cut off and am kind of jealous that I can’t do that now! I may have to invest in some extensions so that I can change things up if I want a bit more length. Any good clip in extension brands that you recommend>

There are so many clip in companies now and I hear great things about Showpony and Luxy hair. I have been changing my hair colour a lot lately so I haven’t been able to try any clip ins to match my hair.
