The Style Loop

Hair Romance - pretzel braid

This was a busy week. I bought this dress and my BaubleBar haul arrived and I love everything. I’m also thinking of buying this necklace.

The Plastic Diaries visits the amazing Bliss Sanctuary retreat in Bali. I want to go to there.

Style Hunter reports on the double bag trend, are two bags better than one?

Breakfast with Audrey chats to Jacqui Markham, womenswear designer for ASOS.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Daily has your budget beauty picks with 16 party season makeup essentials under $10.

Love this holiday hair tutorial by The Beauty Department.

Can’t stop thinking about this dress. Or this one.

So excited that two of my favourite beauty bloggers are releasing their own beauty products. Can’t wait to try My Beauty Bunny’s new vegan and cruelty-free facial moisturiser and Phyrra’s Pretty Little Elixir Hair Masque, which is also vegan and cruelty-free.

I wrote about my latest photography series and 5 fun ideas for things to do do with your holiday photos.

What have you been reading this week?

Photo of me, hairstyle from 30 Braids in 30 Days – Day 20 – that works in wet hair too

Oh dear, I hope that double bag trend isn’t going to catch on. The bigger the bag, the more stuff you think you need, so it would follow that the same would be true for carrying more bags. I recently downsized to a bag that fits only my wallet, phone, keys, and a lip gloss or two and I don’t miss the big old thing I used to haul around.

I know what you mean Beth, my bag keeps getting bigger too! I wonder if keeping two bags would mean I wouldn’t lose things when I swap bags, I could just keep my essentials in the small bag
