Cat-eyes at Anna Sui
I have long been a fan on winged eyeliner, and this 60s inspired cat-eye is gorgeous. Apply a gel liner (such as MAC Fluidline) with an angled brush to get that deep strong eyeline that will hold all day and night.
Bold Pink Lip at DVF
“It’s a look that makes you win in life.” James Kaliardos’ description of the makeup look he created for DVF makes me love it even more. The lips were created using MAC Chromographic Pencil in Process Magenta. The seventies glam-rock makeup also featured MAC Cream Eyeshadow in Rusted Red (part of the new Fall collection) diffused over the lids and blended with Cream Eyeshadow in Oyster to add an inner eye highlight. Seeing Blue at Jason Wu
Colormatched to a cobalt blue in the final outfit, these gorgeous blue eyes really pop. Created by makeup artist Diane Kendal, she started in the crease and blended outward to create this look. There’s a lilac highlight on the centre of the eyelid to create dimension and the shade is also brought below the eye and out to create the sweeping shape. Finish with lashings of mascara.
Bold lips and braids at Alice + Olivia
You know I love braids, and there was no shortage of inspiration at NYFW. At Alice + Olivia, this ring braid was paired with a deep, glossy bold lip. Love the addition of flowers to the ring braid. Add a light gold shimmer across your eyes and this is one NYFW beauty look I will be copying in full.
