Getting my hair done when I travel is always a scary thought. Finding a new hairdresser in your own city is hard enough, and in a new city it can be overwhelming. But my trip to Jamie Stevens Hair in London was a dream and lived up to the hype.
I’m very committed to my Sydney hairdresser, Stevie English Hair, and I was worried about where to go. I knew I’d be travelling for months and would need to get my colour done while I was away I asked him for recommendations.
Stevie didn’t hesitate in recommending Jamie Stevens Hair. That could be because Jamie is the British Hairdresser of the Year and has an amazing list of hair achievements. He’s also Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year and his client list is totally A-list.
There are three locations where you can now find Jamie Stevens Hair – Kensington, Clapham and Surrey.
Walking into the Kensington salon, I was made to feel very welcome and I felt in good hands knowing they also use Matrix colour. Stevie English Hair also uses this range on my hair in Australia.
Stevie had kindly shared details of the formula he normally uses on my hair but I was keen for the team of Jamie Stevens Hair to get creative on my hair and do what they wanted.

I just adore this peachy colour – and Alex was totally ahead of the trend for the Pantone Colour of the Year 2019 – Living Coral. She created the most on-trend colour I’ve ever had.
