Abbey Lee by Max Doyle for Vogue |
Bright coloured hair has appeared on several catwalks in the recent SS12 fashion shows and it seems bright and neon ombre hair is big trend to watch.
I posted about colour block hair and the bright ombre trend here and it seems it’s only going to get bigger.
If you love the look of bright hair, but it won’t go down well at your 9-5, I may have an easy solution for you.
Kevin Murphy (who styled the beautiful Abbey Lee in the shot above) has released a product called Color Bug that creates this look for one night only.
Color Bug is a water soluble hair colour powder that sticks to hair product to create a bright ombre hair look that washes out in the morning. Check out Kevin demonstrate Color Bug in the video below.
I haven’t tried this product for myself yet but it looks like an easy way to wear this trend, without regret and without damaging your hair.
Would you wear bright ombre hair?
I want to get this,Can you ship toThailand?.
Hi Aeh, Head to adorebeauty.com.au and they deliver to Thailand
I just bought one from the Adore Beauty website for $24.95 – going to try the purple!!
How fun! I'd love to try it for just one night:)
I really want to try this too! I've been lazy and haven't been colouring in my bleached ends lately as it's too much hassle, but this looks quick and perfect for a night out.
This is soo cool!! I want to get this and try it out! I wonder how it works are darker hair?
For one night only, sure!
Totally would! I wish he made a teal, but until he comes out with that, I'd settle for purple 🙂
@Amanda G – You can look for a distributor near you here – http://www.kevinmurphy.com.au/findus/findus.distributor.php – Kevin Murphy is a salon brand but is also sold online. Try Amazon or Adore beauty
@Selina – it look sfun doesn't it?
@The Procrastinator – Thanks for the tip! I didn't know my pic was there! I am officially ahead of the trend for low ponytails 😉
Just saw one of your photos on Elle and Blair's site! Excitinggg!
I would love to try this!!!
~Selina~
Do you happen to know where this product is sold? I would definitely like to try it if it's not too expensive.
You can also use some blush or eye shadow (that’s what I do), it works very well and is less expensive !
great idea Marie!
