L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Review

July 27, 2015 By Hair Romance 113 Comments

Think about all you put your hair through – blowdrying, colouring, curling, straightening and more every day. Your hair is feeling the effects of all these environmental stresses. L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil is designed to give your hair the love it needs, and you can win the whole range in this awesome giveaway at the end!

Brought to you by L’Oréal Paris Elvive

Hair Romance - L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils Review {+giveaway!} #extraordinaryhair

The problem with most products for dry hair is they’re so heavy on your hair. It’s a delicate balance between moisturising your hair and weighing it down. You want the hydration but too much and you switch from fluffy hair to hair that hangs with no movement at all.

The new L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil range gives your hair the hydration it needs without the added weight. It’s created for dry hair and to give you back shine and manageability.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

Hair Romance - L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils Review {+giveaway!} #extraordinaryhair

In my quest for extraordinary hair, I try lots of products. For the price, I’m really impressed with this range. The fragrance is floral but toned down with woody notes. It leaves a sweet scent in your hair but isn’t so overpowering that it clashes with your daily perfume.

The shampoo is cleansing without making my scalp feel tight. The conditioner is great for dry hair but still leaves hair feeling light and fresh.

The shampoo and conditioner are $5.95 each and available from all leading retailers or online here.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Masque

Hair Romance - L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils Review {+giveaway!} #extraordinaryhair

At least once a week, I like to use a hair masque. The L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils Nourishing Masque is designed for dry hair that needs extra care but can be used every time you wash your hair. It has the same soft scent as the shampoo and conditioner. The texture is richer and my hair soaks it up.

Alternatively for fine hair, you could use it in place of conditioner as an extra treatment. In my hair, I like to use it between shampoo and conditioner and leave it for a few minutes to really treat my hair.

The masque is $9.95 and available from leading retailers or online here.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils

Hair Romance - L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils Review {+giveaway!} #extraordinaryhair

Really my favourite product of this range, are the Extraordinary Oils. They are created with a blend of six flower oils and are available in 3 types: normal, rich and a light mist spray for fine hair.

The glass bottles really give the Extraordinary Oils a luxe feel and they look gorgeous on your bathroom shelf. They remind me of a much higher end salon brand and I didn’t expect to a find a product of this quality in my supermarket. There hair oils truly are multi-tasking hair wonders you will reach for every day. Check out these 11 ways to use hair oils every day.

The Extraordinary Oil is $19.95 and available from all leading retailers and online here.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Micro Diffusion Oil Spray Review

Hair Romance - L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oils Review {+giveaway!} #extraordinaryhair

I felt the need to single out this product from the other Extraordinary Oils as the formula is so unique. It’s difficult to find products for fine, dry hair and this super fine pump diffuses the oil through your hair without weighing it down. If you have fine hair, you’ll love this product.

The Extraordinary Oil Micro Diffusion Spray is $19.95 and available from all leading retailers and online here.

Extraordinary hair is my life challenge. The right products are imperative to tame my coarse, humidity loving, frizzy, kinky hair. Is Loreal my savior??

Ok, after reading this and a few other of your posts on hair oil, I’m convinced and want to give it a try. It reminds me of when I lived in Sweden and I had some of the best hair. At that time a used a fairly cheap CG friendly olive oil conditioner so it’s always made me wonder if that was part of why my hair was good.

I live in USA now and tried to search if they have some of these products. is what they have when I search Extraordinary Oil. Just searching oil gives a million hits.

Do you or anyone here know what the equivalent products would be? Right now it’s to overwhelming to even try. 🙁

Extraordinary hair to me would be to have the best haircut for my face shape, healthy hair that just falls right into place with little effort!! Not asking for much!! : )

Extraordinary hair, to me, is when I have my big, red, naturally curly hair with the right amount of products, so I don’t have that blanket of frizz on the top. Then, people keep asking how long it took me to curl it. That’s when I feel lucky!
