This month Hair Romance turns 5!
Thank you so much for clicking over and reading my posts, hanging out with me on social media and for all your support.
I was planning on throwing a party but then life got in the way. Over the last 6 weeks, I have travelled to 4 states for work and moved house! Combine that with having no internet for three weeks and then my website was hacked and so it has been a little hectic.
I spent all weekend trying to catch up and I’m almost there. The great thing about blogging for me is that it never feels like a job. Well, sometimes the admin is dull, but I am so grateful that I get to keep doing this every week.
I couldn’t do this without you!
At this time of year I like to check in and make sure that everything’s on track. I also do a little survey to find out more about you. I love to hear your feedback and it helps me to create better content on Hair Romance.
Please click here to complete my survey.
It’s a chance to give me honest and anonymous feedback but if you want, you can go into the draw to win a $100 voucher to spend at my fave Australian online beauty store, adorebeauty.com.au.
Here’s what I’m adding to cart at adorebeauty…
If you win, this is what I’d recommend for you:
Mason Pearson Pocket Boar Bristle Brush – One of the most expensive brushes but so worth it if you have straight or wavy hair. I use it when I curl my hair with a wand to brush out my hair into waves.
Original & Mineral Frizzy Logic – this argan oil serum truly tames frizz and makes your hair smell like coconut.
Terax Crema Conditioner – this old school conditioner is still one of the best around. It’s a cult favourite for good reason. It’s super moisturising but won’t weigh your hair down.
ghd Vintage Pink Platinum Styler – limited edition release to fundraise for breast cancer research, this is the super top end styler I use when I straighten my hair.
Kerastase Discipline Keratine Thermique Creme – my ultimate blowdry lotion. This smooths my hair and protects it from heat styling.
evo helmut hairspray – I have been using this hairspray for years and it’s flexible but still holds in high winds.
Pureology Uplifting Curl – this light gel spray will tame any frizz before it has a chance to form. I used to be scared of gels but I love how they really shape my curls.
Original & Mineral 7 day miracle masque – perfect for dry or damaged hair and it smells so good I almost want to eat it.

Congratulations! I still remember how excited I was to *finally* find tutorials for naturally curly hair instead of the usual curling iron options. Here’s to 5 more fabulous years!

Thanks so much Liz! I love the Kerastase treatments. They’re expensive but so concentrated that they last x
