The Style Loop

February 16, 2014 By Hair Romance 2 Comments

Chic pinned updo

Very excited that my friend Steph has just launched her new-look for Lipstick & Cake! It’s a fun beauty, food & lifestyle site and I can’t wait to see more of Steph’s USA adventures.

I couldn’t help but buy these mason jars and straws from The Spring Shop that I’ll be using for some more cocktail recipes but now I want to turn them into lamps with this gorgeous DIY.

Here’s what else I’ve been up to this week.

The Beauty Department have a fantastic hairbrush guide.

Christine from 15 Minute Beauty has a brand new series on Babble called Beauty Rx. Head over to read her first post about flat iron tips & fave drugstore heat protectants.

Can you ever own too many stripes? I say no and want this dress.

The Plastic Diaries has the latest on the OPI + Coca Cola collaboration.

Gouldylox shares 5 (hair)sprays that will change your life.

My Beauty Bunny has some beauty gadgets I didn’t know I needed until now.

Mr Romance spills his shaving product tips for your man.

Psst Rebecca Taylor is offering a further 25% off sale prices with the code 25OFFSALE and there are some great items like this LBD, or this blazer, or this leather top…

Are you right-brained or left-brained? Turns out I’m both!

I wrote up my travel wish-list for 2014.

What have you been reading / wearing / buying this week?

Hi Emily, sorry no tutorial for this as it’s from a wedding but you can see more of her hair in this post – http://www.stylemepretty.com/2012/08/16/parisian-wedding-from-rylee-hitchner-photography/. It’s been curled with a large barrel wand. Then a deep side part and the top half loosely pinned up at the back. Hope this help!
