It took 20+ years of living (and fighting) with my curly and unruly hair before I finally gave in and went with it. I discovered your tutorials on Pinterest and now I can honestly say I’m starting to actually love my curly, unruly hair. I find myself looking forward to the next style to play with.

Hey girl! I actually have two favorite things about you and your blog, just could not narrow it down to just one! First, I love that you have so many hairstyles for curly-haired ladies! I have a big head of red, curly hair and love to braid it, but most tutorials show styles with straight hair and it just never looks the same. But not your stuff! Second, I just adore you and your writing style, it’s like you are sitting next to me saying “Ok, now do this to your hair and it will be fabulous!”
Don’t ever stop, you are wonderful:-)

I found your site one night be accident. I was looking for a easy was to style my crazy hair. I love all the different knots you have. They are easy for me to do and fast. And with homeschooling 3 kids, running a small farm, and house hold chors my hair always looked rough. Now everyone tells me how lovely my hair looks even by the end of my day. That always makes my day. So thanks for showing me these fun hair styles.

I love the comparisons of the curly version vs the straighter version of hairstyles! It’s really great to see the differences and I have a closer version of what it will actually look like in my hair…instead of going into…most hairstyles expecting one thing…and getting something…else.
    Thanks!! Love your website

I have successfully expanded my range of hairstyles using your techniques. I love that they don’t take very long because I don’t have much time in the morning! I particularly liked the post on styles that work well for wet hair!
My hair is straight but is curly when it dries ib a braid, so I would love to see some braid or twist styles that are designed to look good when you let your hair come out of the twist/braid. I often end up with straight roots and curly ends!

Congratulations on the anniversary of you book!
I absolutely love all the beautiful ideas you share with us on your site and in your news letters.
I was so excited to find you almost a year ago, as I’m getting married in less than a month in the Kalahari, pretty much in the middle of nowhere under a tree. There are no facilities and if you want water you have to take it along. With all your fabulous ideas I’ve had very little stress about what to do with my hair.
I am so happy that you have so many beautiful up-do styles to choose from and they have been so nicely documented with step by step details. I’m confident that I’ll be able to have a gorgeous hair-day on my big day despite the lack of electricity and all the dress-room glamour a bride usually requires to look her best.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to share and teach us how to have a FANTASTIC hair day no matter where you are and what you have available!
No more excuses for a drab hair day….I feel lovely with every style I’ve tried!

I really enjoy your website & the emails on new ways to wear my hair. I’m still learning how to braid and style my long hair. I was never allowed to have long hair as a child. Even within the last 5 years my mother has told me that I should never wear my hair long. It’s pretty funny. I have terrific curly hair and love to wear it in different ways. Winning a copy of your book would be fantastic!

    Hi!
I’ve just come across you after spending the past hour on the phone with my sister, sending pictures back and forth of our hair! A friend lent my sister her copy of Hair Romance, and she’s been braiding and bunning and sending me pics of each style ever since!
Thanks for helping me feel closer to my sister. She’s in Brisbane and I live on the other side of the world in Amsterdam, so shared experiences are rare. I’d love to have my own copy of the book so that we can do even more things “together”.
Love your insta account too! (I’m on as @nissagram)

In this last year because my curls have been getting better and better I have not straightened my hair once and I have become so proud of my locks.
Your fab hair tutorials are so inspiring and I love giving them a go. The tutorials are so easy to follow and I regularly get compliments on the styles I try, you have helped me make the most of my crowning glory. I tell anyone who will listen about hair romance and the wonderful ideas on it. I would so so love to win your book as it’s very difficult to track down here in Ireland and I just know it is full of brilliant hair styles.
